Important Update for Student Visa Applicants!
Effective July 1, 2024, the Department of Home Affairs has announced a dramatic increase in student visa application fees. While these fees typically rise by about 3% annually, this year's adjustment has surged to an astonishing 125%. This unprecedented hike affects all categories of student visa applicants.
New Fee Structure:
- Main Applicant Fee: Previously $710, now $1600
- Dependent Applicants: Previously $530, now $1190
- Children under 18: Previously $175, now $390
Additionally, applicants who are already in Australia and applying for a student visa while holding certain other visas may face an extra charge of $700.
